Cold front has pushed through overnight and is just now off the NJ coast. Cool crisp air this morning.

Upper Air Plots

GFS chart with what is known as the “dynamic tropopause”, it essentially tells us the density of cold air in the upper levels of the atmosphere and how it moves through time. Right now the blues indicate deep colder air indicative of a more arctic cold front typical in the fall/winter.

High Temps

Low 70s for the city, cooler up in the mountains. Fall is here!
