Currently we see a stalled front in the region, this will be a source of storms for this afternoon

There is a chance for severe weather today. Storm prediction center has us in an elevated risk for severe weather. Hail, damaging winds, and even an isolated tornado is possible.

Models show strong storms this afternoon. Both HRRR and FV3 indicate storms this evening

FV3 shows stronger cluster near NYC, but overall widespread action shown on both models.

Storms generally will be firing after 3 PM.
