  • Highs in the upper 60s
  • Chance of strong to severe storms with cold front

A big storm complex is shifting east. Warm front in our region is moving north and will help create some instability.

High Temps

We will likely make it to the mid-60s today in the city.

SPC Severe Weather

We have an elevated risk for severe storms today. The greatest threat is gusty winds, but SPC does highlight our area for very small chance of tornadoes.

The threat exists around 7-8 PM in our area. NAM in the image below shows a strong line of storms moving through. Expecting to have a strong low level jet and temperature advection which will create the instability needed for storms. The tornado threat exists with low level winds and mid-level winds veering.
