- Colder day today
- Showers and wintry precip moving through
- Not much accumulations expected
Surface Chart
Currently we have a large complex moving into the mid-west. This is allowing for a large precip shield to move into PA. Most of the southern half of the state is already above freezing.

High Temps
We will climb to near 40 by this afternoon when the bulk of the precip will be upon us.

Forecast Map
Right now it appears we will stay as light rain in the immediate Philly area this morning and early afternoon. Further to the Poconos could see some light wintry mix and even coating to an inch of snow. These maps are for 2 pm and 8 pm.

Expected Accumulations
Light accumulations for the far northern burbs. I believe the NWS is going to issue a winter weather advisory for the wintry precip.
