Right now we have some clouds overhead with our area squeezed between a cold front to the north and another front draped across the Carolinas. High pressure is trying to make its way from the Ohio Valley. I think we will see more sunshine this afternoon. A big rainstorm is brewing in the Plains.
High Temperatures
Highs for much of the region will be in the low 70s with cool spots along the shore points and mountains, which will be in the upper 60s.
Big Storm Brewing
Right now we’re monitoring a rain storm that’s brewing for this weekend. A cut-off upper-level low-pressure area will translate to a sprawling surface low with plenty of juice as it slowly work its way to our region. For now, it will bother the Plains until Friday.
