Daily Disco [5/26] Warm & Humid, Cold Front Late

I will keep today’s discussion brief. I hope everyone has a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend.

Synopsis:

  • Warm and humid
  • Chance of storms, mainly west
  • Cooler tomorrow after cold front
  • Elevated risk for strong storms (see Severe menu)

Discussion:

High temperatures will maximize right along I-95 ahead of the cold front.

Mid to upper 80s, but with the added humidity it will feel warmer. You can see cooler temps over the Great Lakes.

Cold front moves through increasing our chances for storms this evening. The Storm Prediction Center has given us an elevated risk for severe weather (see Severe menu)

Later this evening…

The main cold front won’t move through Philly until around midnight.

So keep an eye to the sky if you live further west. There is some instability so storms may get on the stronger side.

That’s all for today. I am readying a long term outlook for the month of June, due to come out later this week.

Have a great day!
