7/15 Weather Brief

  • A hot July day
  • Very slight chance of storms in the afternoon

Currently some low level clouds hanging around Philly and NJ.

There is a weak low level boundary extending from southern New England into the area. This is expected to lift out during the day today.

High temperature will be in the low 90s today, shore points about 10 degrees cooler in the low 80s. It’s a good time to be down the shore.

Heat index expected to be about 5 degrees warmer than actual temps.

Of course, as is customary in July, a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Better chance for organized strong storms are out by the Great Lakes this evening with a front.

NAM shows a solo storm in our area around 5pm, but other models disagree and don’t have much at all.

Overall, seems to be just another hot day. Shore is the winner. Thank you for reading!
