Rain Totals
Patchy areas of heavy rainfall with some spots reaching 3-4″ of rain. Cluster of storms in SEPA this morning that is adding another 1-2″ in slow moving rain.

Surface Chart
Right now we are on the cool side of a frontal boundary that will slowly fade out during the day. Until then we will get some marine air flow into NJ and SEPA that will ignite slow moving storms capable of flash flooding.

Forecast
Some short range guidance gives us another patchy heavy rainfall day with 2″+ of rain in areas that get caught under the slow moving storms. NAM below is one such model, showing cluster of storms in NJ around 2pm. We start to clear out after that, but isolated storms expected into the evening.

The Good News
Our temps today will be 10+ degrees colder and may not hit 80 in the city.
