Right now there is a stalled frontal boundary to the south of the area. This is where the current thunderstorms are going the strongest. The boundary will continue to shift south through the day and we will likely see some sunshine in the afternoon.

Current Radar

Strong storms moving their way through SNJ. Could produce gusty winds. The severe thunderstorm warning in this image has expired in the present.

Model Forecast

The HRRR is showing strong storms spinning up again in SNJ around 2pm, this time a little further south as the stalled front drifts south. In EPA will will start to see pokes of sunshine and it should be a nice afternoon.

High Temperature

Should be slightly below seasonal temps for most of the area. Cool spot near Cape May as clouds and storms linger into the afternoon.
